TA patterns - expectation vs outcome

I have had my fair share of encounters with these patterns in my early years of trading but could never get my head around it. It felt great to see this in hindsight but real markets always looked awry😅

Discretion at its purest form😊 

Identifying these TA patterns is a big conundrum by itself. No question about it.

Hindsight, everything will look like H&S if the probable trade worked and on the other hand, everything will look like no H&S if the mkt moved against the pattern 😅.

It would be considered presumptuous if i say that indecisiveness that follows the event almost always kills the psychology of the trader. 

Dozens of Qs would follow - am i looking at the pattern in the right way, should i wait more, setup lost its edge, SL related dilemma.

The mental agony that ensues is a different topic altogether 😊

Typically, traders get creative with the patterns as well...It does not mean its wrong - but they almost never appears the way it(patterns) has been taught in classic TA books

..and the search for that proverbial perfect pattern starts.

Traders believe that the more hours they spend on identifying these patterns, the better it is. But the big Q is - can you trade these patterns with 10's of crores? If not, time to think why 😊
